From 25 to 27 September 2026,<\/strong> the 7th edition of the Limburg Open Pickleball<\/strong> will be held in Roerdalen, organized by the LTV Melick Pickleball Division<\/em>. Bigger than ever! This year, we are organizing singles matches and a youth tournament on Friday. Doubles on Saturday and Sunday were fully booked within 15 hours!<\/p>\n

The Limburg Open Pickleball has grown into one of the largest and best-organized tournaments in the Netherlands and neighboring countries. In 2025, it was even named the best tournament in the Netherlands! <\/em><\/p>\n

Tournament Format<\/strong>
\nFriday 25 September<\/u>
\n\u2013 Open play from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM (\u20ac5\/hour, payable on site)
\n\u2013 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM: youth doubles tournament (all pairings allowed) for players under 16 (\u20ac15 per person)
\n\u2013 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM men\u2019s and women\u2019s singles tournament (\u20ac20 per person). The singles matches are played across the entire width of the court.
\nSaturday and Sunday are almost fully booked.<\/span> One place left for a team in the MD Advance 4+!<\/p>\n

Entry to the tournament includes a slice of \u2018vlaai\u2019 (fruit cake) in the evening. First, group matches (round robin) will be played, followed by knockout matches. Games are played to 11, with a 2-point difference up to max 15. We aim for each participant to play at least 6 matches per day. All results are reported to DUPR.<\/p>\n

Advance will use the yellow Franklin X40 Outdoor ball, while novice\/intermediate will use the sponsored green Gamma Photon Indoor<\/a> ball. For more information (such as the paddles), please refer to the tournament rules<\/a> on the LTV Melick website.
