The TL Pickleball 50+ Open

A dedicated 50+ tournament with prize money hosted on 5 purpose built indoor pickleball courts with permanent nets, at Advantage Padel Mudeford. An indoor facility with showers, changing rooms, water refill station, FOC parking, a bar serving food and drinks and seating areas.

If an event exceeds capacity, order of acceptance will be determined by highest combined teams DUPR at the entry deadline. If a team misses out on a place in an event due to this, they will receive a full refund.

Referees:

There will be referees for all medal matches and some other matches.

100% Capacity:

• 50+ Women's Doubles - Gold £500, Silver £400, Bronze £300, 4^th £200
• 50+ Men's Doubles - Gold £500, Silver £400, Bronze £300, 4^th £200
• 50+ Mixed Doubles - Gold £500, Silver £400, Bronze £300, 4^th £200

80% Capacity:

Gender Doubles:

• 13-16 pairs - 100% prize money
• 12 pairs or below - 75% prize money

Mixed Doubles:

• 25 - 32 pairs - 100% prize money
• 24 pairs or below - 75% prize money

• All results will be entered into DUPR
• If you are 50, or turn 50 in 2027 you are eligible to play
• If event exceeds capacity, order of acceptance will be determined by highest combined team's DUPR at entry deadline
• Seedings will be based on highest combined team's DUPR at entry deadline
• All players must have a RAQT ID with their DUPR ID linked

• Group Stages, Round Robin Format, groups of 4, matches to 11 win by 2
• All teams qualify to a single elimination draw, matches to 15 win by 2 with medal matches (gold & bronze) best of 3 to 11 win by 2
• All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches per event
• (Based on draws being full, if draws aren't full the same format will apply but group sizes may be different)

Registration Opens - Monday 12^th October at Midday

Registration Closes - Sunday 20^th December at Midnight

Entry Fees:

Registration Fee - £40

Event Fee - £50 per event

Any withdrawals before the entry deadline will be given a full refund.

No registration fee refund after entry deadline.

Event fee refund after entry deadline IF suitable replacement is found.

Replacement will be required to pay registration fee (unless registered for another event) and event fee.

If no replacement is found event fees are subject to a 50% refund.

If event exceeds capacity, any team not accepted based on teams combined DUPR will have the option to be added to a waitlist. If the team does not gain entry they will be given a full refund.
