3. PFA Box League – DUPR Rating Session

Players are divided into groups (boxes) according to their DUPR rating. Partners change after each game. All results will be rated on DUPR.

Box League Format:

• Continuous round-robin competition where players are grouped into small "boxes" (groups or divisions) of 4 to 6 competitors of similar skill
• Participants are appointed partners and opponents and play matches with performance dictating who moves one box up or down
• Partners change after each game
• After everyone has played one game with everyone else within the box, the top two players from each box advance, and the bottom two are relegated
• Box 1: top 3 stay; Box 4: bottom 3 stay
• 2 Rounds are played (up to 8 games in total)
• All games will be rated on DUPR

Match format:

• 1 game to 11 points, win by 2
• Golden Point at 14:14
• Change ends when one team reaches 6 points
• No timeouts

English: General Provisions

1. Gespielt wird nach den Regeln der PFA-Wettspielordnung: Link
2. Nur aktuell USAP zugelassene Paddles sind erlaubt: Link
3. Alle Spiele sind auf 1 Gewinnsatz (Game) angesetzt
4. Gruppenspiele im Box-Modus. 
5. Seitenwechsel sobald 1 Team 6 Punkte erreicht hat. 
6. Keine Timeouts.
7. Gelbe Bekleidung ist aufgrund der Ballfarbe untersagt.
8. Teilnahmeberechtigt sind Personen aus allen Ländern. 
9. Anmeldung nur alleine.
10. Spieler:innen müssen sich vor Turnierbeginn bei der Turnierleitung melden. 
11. Spieler:innen, die 10 Minuten nach Spielbeginn nicht spielbereit sind, werden in dieser Runde w.o. geschrieben, können aber in der nächsten Runde (sofern eine angesetzt ist) antreten.
12. Der Veranstalter, die PFA sowie der austragende Verein bzw. die Sportanlage oder Veranstalter übernehmen keine wie immer geartete Haftung. 
13. Die Veranstalterin (PFA) kann diese Ausschreibung ändern, falls besondere Gründe gegen den reibungslosen Ablauf des Turniers vorliegen. 
14. Mit der Anmeldung zur Veranstaltung stimme ich einer allfälligen Herstellung sowie der Weiterverwendung der von mir bei der Veranstaltung hergestellten Medien (Bild, Video, Ton, etc.) durch die Veranstalter:innen bzw. deren Beauftragte zu. 
15. Sollten einzelne Bestimmungen unwirksam oder undurchführbar sein, werden die übrigen Bestimmungen hiervon nicht berührt. Anstelle der unwirksamen Bestimmung gilt diejenige wirksame und durchführbare Bestimmung als vereinbart, die dem mit der unwirksamen oder undurchführbaren Bestimmung verfolgten Zweck am nächsten kommt.

German: Allgemeine Bestimmungen

1. The game is played according to the rules of the PFA rules of competition „PFA Wettspielordnung“: Link
2. Only paddles currently approved by USAP are permitted: Link
3. Matches are scheduled for one winning games.
4. Group matches in box format.
5. Change of sides as soon as 1 team has reached 6 points.
6. No timeouts.
7. Clothing in yellow are prohibited because of the colour of the balls.
8. People from all countries are eligible to participate.
9. If you submit your entry without a double partner, participation cannot be guaranteed.
10. Players must report to the tournament board on the day of the tournament.
11. Players who are not ready to play 10 minutes after the start of the game will w.o., but can compete in the next round (if one is scheduled).
12. The organiser, the PFA and the hosting club or organiser accept no liability of any kind.
13. The organisers can change this announcement in coordination with the PFA if there are special reasons for the smooth running of the tournament.
14. By registering for the event, I agree to any production and the further use of the media (image, video, sound, etc.) of myself produced at the event by the organizers or their agents.
15. Should individual provisions be ineffective or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall not be affected. Instead of the invalid provision, a valid and enforceable provision that comes closest to the purpose of the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be deemed to have been agreed.
