Las cantidades de dinero que se pagarán a los premiados podrán ser reducidas ya que dichas cantidades están supeditadas a las retenciones fiscales específicadas en los convenios bilaterales entre España y el país de origen de la persona premiada.

Los premios se abonarán en los días posteriores a la finalización del torneo, una vez se hayan calculado el porcentaje de inscritos en cada categoría y se haya preguntado por la legislación de la persona premiada.

🇬🇧 Registration: 1 december 2026 – 7 May 2027 or either until the maximum number of inscriptions are completed or the number of players per category. The registration will be in the app, RAQT.

Notice that no payment will be accepted in cash but has to be transferred to the above mentioned bank account. Registration fees cannot be refunded, except for a justified case of force majeure or if the participant can find a substitute who takes its position. Cases:

• Until 7 of May, 90% of the registration fee is returned, but we will charge you the return costs if any occur. (-5€ administration)
• From May 8 to May 16, 75% of the registration fee is returned, but we will charge you the return costs if any occur. (-10€ administration)
• From the 17th of May, no refunds are done may they be justified or not *

*A substitute can be found in order not to lose the inscription fee.

🇬🇧 OFFICIAL VENUE UPDATE

Update on court access and media for Reballution Cup 2027:

Access to the courts is restricted exclusively to players currently competing, referees, and authorized personnel; this is for player safety reasons.

Spectators and photographers are not allowed on the courts, except for those with official accreditation from the organizers.

Companions are not permitted in the playing area and must remain in the stands or designated areas.

To record or take photos courtside during the competition, accreditation is required and must be requested from the organizers.

Any company that does not have authorization from the event organizers to advertise its products or services may be expelled from the premises.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in denial of access or expulsion from the premises.

🇪🇸 NORMAS OFICIALES DE LA INSTALACIÓN

El acceso a las pistas está restringido exclusivamente a los jugadores que estén compitiendo en ese momento, equipos arbitrales y personal autorizado; todo esto por razones de seguridad para los jugadores.

Los espectadores y fotógrafos no podrán acceder a las pistas, salvo aquellos que cuenten con acreditación oficial de la organización.

Los acompañantes no tienen permitido el acceso a la zona de juego, debiendo permanecer en gradas o zonas habilitadas.

Para grabar o hacer fotos a pie de pista durante la competición es obligatorio contar con acreditación, que debe solicitarse a la organización.

Toda empresa que no cuente con la autorización de la organización del evento para realizar publicidad de sus productos o servicios podrá ser expulsada del recinto.

El incumplimiento de estas normas puede llevar a la denegación de acceso o expulsión del recinto.

ALL USAP RULES APPLY at the 2027 Reballution Cup, Rota, Spain.

Code of Conduct: Reballution Cup warmly welcomes you to the tournament. It is expected that all players exhibit good sportsmanship, display proper etiquette, and show respectful behavior directed towards referees, staff, workers, volunteers and spectators before and after a match and while on the Reballution Cup premises. Failure to do so will be reviewed by the Tournament Director (TD) and Head Referee (HR) for potential corrective action and penalties may be assessed.

Important Note About Paddles:

• Only paddles on the USA Pickleball Approved Paddle list can be used at the 2026 Reballution Cup.
• If the paddle is on the USA Pickleball Approved Paddle list when you arrive at your court for your match, your paddle can be used for that match.
• Players are responsible for verifying that their paddle is on the Approved Paddle List and may be asked by the referee to show a live picture (not screenshot) of their paddle on the Approved Paddle List if the referee does not recognize it. Players may also be required to use some of their warm-up time to look up their paddle if the referee does not recognize the paddle.

Key points of the USA Pickleball rules are summarized below for convenience. However, as a player, you are responsible for being familiar with the 2026 USAP Official Rulebook.

Notable New USAP Rules for 2027

• Players requesting a time-out must now clearly indicate their intent to both the referee and their opponents. This may be done verbally (“Time-out”), by using the universal “T” hand signal, or both. The referee will acknowledge the time-out by announcing, for example, “Time-out, receivers 7-5-1, one minute,” while moving to the center of the net. This change is intended to prevent players from silently stopping play and walking off the court without communicating that they are requesting a time-out and thereby unnecessarily delaying the game.
• If a player requests the Head Referee and the on-court referee acknowledges the request, but the player then later rescinds the request, the team will be assessed a standard time-out. If no standard timeout remains, a technical foul (loss of a point) will be assessed.
• Spectators and coaches shall not be consulted on line calls.
• If a player requests a medical time-out and the referee calls medical staff, but the player rescinds the request before medical staff arrive, the team will be assessed a standard time-out. If no standard timeout remains , a technical foul will be assessed. If the player rescinds the MTO request after medical staff have arrived to the court, the team will be assessed a MTO and any remaining time of the 15 minutes is not granted. All MTO requests will be assessed for validity.

Player Instructions:

1. Warm Up: The first matches of the day will commence promptly at 8:00 or 9:00 AM (see RAQT Schedule) – please check your brackets! Players are expected to sign in and complete their warm-up before this time. You will receive a text message when your bracket has started, and the message will provide your court assignment.

A group pre-match briefing will be provided for the first match of each new bracket, followed by a short referee briefing on court.

Five minutes of warmup is provided for the first match of each bracket and 3 minutes for all remaining matches in that bracket.

Please be on time!!

If you are not on court within the allotted time, we will make a second and FINAL announcement over the PA system (or a telephone call) asking you to report to the court immediately. The first game of your match (1 game to 11 or 15 or Game 1 of 2 out of 3 games to 11) will be forfeited if you are not on the court and ready to play within 10 minutes of the original message. The match (2 out of 3 games to 11) will be forfeited if you are not on court and ready to play within 15 minutes. Avoid forfeits by being on time!

Players are allowed to warm-up on an empty court, but when a referee arrives at that court, players must vacate the court to prevent match delays.

2. Line Call Responsibilities: Players are responsible for calling all lines on their end of the court, including center line on the serve. Referees are responsible for calling all service faults, NVZ faults, and short serves. Please make your “out” calls LOUD, CLEAR and IMMEDIATE, and hold any hand signal (if used) so the referee can see them. The Code of Ethics for Line Calling requires that the opponent receive the benefit of any doubt. Spectators and coaches must not be consulted on any calls and can result in a penalty to that player/team.

3. Referee Appeals: You may ask the referee to rule on any line call. The referee will only rule if they saw the ball land. Otherwise, the original call will stand.

4. Score Calling, Player Positions and Challenges:

• Referees will check to make sure that all players are ready, or should be ready, and in the correct positions before calling the score.
• If asked, the referee will confirm and correct that all players are in the correct positions and that the correct server has the ball before calling the score.
• If the referee or a player stops a rally in progress to correctly identify a player/position error, the rally shall be replayed.
• If a player stops a rally and incorrectly identifies a player/position error, it is a fault on the player who stopped the rally.
• If the referee stops a rally in progress and incorrectly identifies a player or position error, the rally will be replayed.
• If a player or position error is identified after the rally has concluded, the rally shall stand.
• If a player stops a rally and correctly identifies a wrong score called, before the return of serve, the rally shall be replayed.
• If a player stops a rally and incorrectly identifies a wrong score called, before the return of serve, it is a fault on that player/team for stopping the rally.
• If a player stops a rally to identify a wrong score, after the return of serve, it is a fault on the player/team for stopping the rally after the return of serve to challenge a score called.
• If a player identifies a wrong score called after the rally has concluded, the rally shall stand.

5. Starting server bands:

Starting server bands will not be provided for doubles events.

6. Service-related rules:

• After the score is announced, the serving team has 10 seconds to serve the ball; failing to do so results in a fault.
• The server cannot hit the ball to serve until the entire score is announced. Serving before the score is fully called results in a fault. If the server strikes the ball before the score has begun to be announced, it is a replay as the ball was dead.
• Before the serve is hit, players may ask the referee who the correct server or receiver is, whether they are in the correct position or to confirm the called score.

7. Service Motion: The referee will pay close attention that each player's service motion complies with USA Pickleball requirements. The ball release must also be visible to the referee and the opponent.

8. Time Outs:

• Standard Time-Out: ONE standard time-out is allowed for each 11 point and 15 point game. Standard time-outs shall be requested before the next serve or between games.
• Change End Time-Out: The referee will call a time-out to allow players to change ends at 6 points, in a game to 11, at 8 points in a game to 15 and at 6 points in game 3 (in a 2 out of 3 match) to 11 points.
• Between Games Time-Out: The Referee will call a 2 minute time-out between games of a match to change ends.
• During the above 3 time-outs, players may hydrate, talk with their partner, and receive coaching from others.
• Each player may request one medical time-out per match to address injuries and health conditions. When a player makes this request, medical personnel or the Tournament Director will assess the validity of the request. If valid, the player will have a maximum of 15 minutes from the time medical assistance arrives on the court.
• If the Medical time-out request is deemed invalid, the player will incur a standard time-out charge, if available, and will receive a technical warning. If the player has no remaining standard time-out, a technical foul will be issued, resulting in a loss of 1 point score adjustment and the medical time-out is no longer available.

9. Hydration: Players can quickly hydrate and towel off between rallies during the game.

10. Blood Presence: Any action that results in blood will trigger an automatic uncharged timeout by the referee, requiring medical attention and cleanup of the blood.

11. Concussion: Any player who suffers a head injury will receive a referee timeout and be evaluated by medical staff. If the medical staff detects signs of a concussion, the player must not return to play without a written clearance from a licensed healthcare professional. The Tournament Director will manage all concussion issues.

12. Requests to meet with the Head Referee or Tournament Director: Players who want to meet with the Head Referee or Tournament Director to contest a referee’s decision will receive a standard timeout and a technical warning if the decision is upheld. A technical foul will be assessed if no standard timeout is available, resulting in a one-point adjustment.

13. Good Sportsmanship: Players are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times. Any actions considered unsportsmanlike by the referee will result in a verbal warning, a technical warning, or a technical foul. A game will be forfeited if a player or team receives both a technical warning and a technical foul or fails to comply with established rules. Accumulating three technical warnings during a match will result in a game forfeit. The match will be forfeited once four technical warnings or two technical fouls have been issued.

14. Items Allowed on Court: Players can bring towels, water, or sports drink bottles (no glass containers) onto the court. No open liquid containers are allowed. Bags are not allowed.

15. Hinders and Balls on Court: Players may call “hinder” or “ball on court” if they are distracted by a ball, player, or object entering their playing area. Valid hinders are determined by the referee. Unless the referee deems it a safety concern, they will not automatically stop play for a possible ball in the playing area that is not interfering with play, such as rolling on the back fence. However, a player may call “ball” if that ball rolling on back fence is distracting to them.

Unless it is a safety issue, do not call “BALL” when your ball goes to an adjacent court. Do not run onto the adjacent court to collect your ball. Wait till the play ends and ask the players on the adjacent court to return the ball to you.

Rota has no train station, being Jerez de la Frontera and El Puerto de Santa Maria the nearest stations. Both stations are intermediate points on the Sevilla-Jerez line. Find out below how to get to Rota by train.

If you are coming from Seville, you must buy a ticket to Jerez de la Frontera at the Santa Justa train station. You can choose between the RENFE medium distance service (travel time 1h 5min) and the ALVIA service (travel time 55 minutes) which is about 5 euros more expensive. From there you will have to continue your journey by another means (car or bus).

If you wish to travel from Seville to Rota by bus, you must take one of the many COMES buses that run daily on this line. The bus station from where they leave for Seville is the Prado station in San Sebastian. The trip takes 2 hours, with an intermediate stop in Jerez. The approximate price of the Seville-Rota bus trip is 12 euros.

Buses from Jerez:

In this case, in addition to the Sevilla-Jerez-Rota line, you can take any of the buses of the Jerez-Rota line, operated by the COMES company.

Route M-905 (Sevilla-Jerez-Rota): the journey time from Jerez to Roma is 30 minutes.

Road M-560 (Jerez-Rota): travel time 45 minutes.

Line M-561 (Jerez-Sanlúcar-Chipiona-Costa Ballena): This bus does not stop in the center of Rota. You should only take it if your destination is Costa Ballena. The travel time is 30 minutes.

Route with possible slow traffic when exiting the highway at Jerez de la Frontera, as well as on the A-2078 regional road during weekends and summer. This route runs along the AP-4 freeway (Seville-Cádiz).

Seville - Jerez de la Frontera – Rota

(N-IV, 129 kms., 1 h 41 min. approx.):

Route with slow traffic as it passes through the towns of Dos Hermanas, El Cuervo and Jerez de la Frontera, as well as along the entire route during weekends and summer.

If arriving from Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz) we recommend taking the regional road A-2078 (30 kms., 33 min. approx.). Please note that there will be possible slow traffic during weekends and summer.

If you are arriving from El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz) we recommend the new regional road A-491 (21 kms., 20 min. approx.). Please note that there will be possible slow traffic during weekends and summer.

Ruta M-905 (Sevilla-Jerez-Rota): el tiempo de trayecto de Jerez a Roma es de 30 minutos.

Cases:

1. If the organization or a player perceives a non-approved racket BEFORE a match, said player will be forced to change his paddle. If he refuses, he will be expelled from the tournament.
2. If the organization or a player receives a non-approved racket DURING a match, that match will be considered lost to that player. He will be able to change his paddle for the next match. If he refuses, he will be expelled from the tournament.
3. If the organization or a player receives a non-approved paddle AFTER a match, the result of said match will be maintained. The player will be notified that he must change his paddle for the next match. If he refuses, he will be expelled from the tournament.

🇬🇧 REBALLUTION CUP 2027 will close with a dinner at one of the largaste Beach Clubs in the province of Cadiz, specifically at the Beach Club “Playa Virgen” located on one of the main beaches of Rota.

Players can book their places for the dinner by registering in the Raqt application, as if it were any other category.

We will give all the details of what is included in the price BEFORE starting the registrations.
