Limburg Open Pickleball 2026
On Friday 25, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026, the Limburg Open Pickleball will be organised for the 7th time by LTV Melick’s pickleball department. Bigger than before!
Around 250 players with DUPR ratings of 3.0 (novice - 3.2), 3.5 (intermediate 3.2-3.9) or 4.0 (advanced 4.0+) will be participating. A 3-day tournament where anyone of any level can take part.
The singles matches will be played on Friday evening (£20), the women's (DD) and men's doubles (HD) on Saturday (£30), and the mixed doubles (MD) (£30) on Sunday at the home venue of the LTV Melick pickleball division: Sporthal de Wieë, Heerbaan 28, 6061 EE in Posterholt (near Roermond in the Netherlands). The sports hall has 7 badminton courts with clearly marked non-volley lines. Novice and intermediate players use the Gamma Photon Indoor, while advanced players use the Franklin X40 outdoor.
Friday starts at 6 pm. Saturday and Sunday start at 9 am with a cup of coffee or tea and a lovely piece of Limburgse vlaai (regional specialty cake). First, 6 round-robin matches will be played, followed by knock-out matches. Lunch will be served during the matches, and on Saturday, after the matches, there will be a dinner for all participants (€12.50).
