Play pickleball, share the fun
From 25 to 27 September 2026, the 7th edition of the Limburg Open Pickleball will be held in Roerdalen, organized by the LTV Melick Pickleball Division. Bigger than ever! This year, we are organizing singles matches and a youth tournament on Friday. Doubles on Saturday and Sunday were fully booked within 15 hours!
The Limburg Open Pickleball has grown into one of the largest and best-organized tournaments in the Netherlands and neighboring countries. In 2025, it was even named the best tournament in the Netherlands!
Tournament Format
Friday 25 September
– Open play from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (€5/hour, payable on site)
– 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM: youth doubles tournament (all pairings allowed) for players under 16 (€20 per person)
– 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM men’s and women’s singles tournament (€20 per person). The singles matches are played across the entire width of the court.
Saturday and Sunday are fully booked
Entry to the tournament includes a slice of ‘vlaai’ (fruit cake) in the evening. First, group matches (round robin) will be played, followed by knockout matches. Games are played to 11, with a 2-point difference up to max 15. We aim for each participant to play at least 6 matches per day. All results are reported to DUPR.
Advance will use the yellow Franklin X40 Outdoor ball, while novice/intermediate will use the sponsored green Gamma Photon Indoor ball. For more information (such as the paddles), please refer to the tournament rules on the LTV Melick website.
